The UTL February In-Season Development Program is an optional, short-term training opportunity for athletes who want to continue developing speed, footwork, and game execution during the season—without adding unnecessary fatigue before games.
This program is built for families who value structure, consistency, and high-quality coaching.
No drop-ins.
No chaos.
Just intentional skill work.
Participation in this program does not impact UTL playing time.

Who: Kindergarten–8th Grade
When: Sundays | 2:00–3:00 PM (K-4th) 3:00--4:00 PM (5th-8th)
Location: Venice Speed Lab
This option is ideal for athletes looking to improve movement quality and confidence during the season.
Focus Areas
Capacity: Limited (20–25 athletes)
Who: Grades 6–8 (Approval Required)
When: Mondays | 6:00–7:00 PM
Capacity: 8–10 athletes max
This is a small-group, high-level environment designed for quarterbacks and receivers ready for advanced instruction.

This group is intentionally capped to maintain an elite learning environment.

Andrew Brown is a state-champion football coach, veteran Offensive Coordinator, and Quarterback Coach with 20+ years of experience developing football and track athletes across Sarasota, Manatee, and Venice.
He is the Director of The Academy SSP, a Universal Speed Rating (USR) SpeedLab partner, and the Commissioner of Under the Lights Venice.
