Hello, I'm Evan Brown, an 18-year-old currently in my senior year at St. Stephen's Episcopal. I'd like to take a moment to share a bit about myself and my journey in sports.

Football is my primary passion, and I've dedicated myself to the sport over the past few years. While I also participate in Track and Field, my true love lies on the football field. My experience in football has not only shaped me as an athlete but also as a leader and team player.

Coming from a large family as the second oldest of seven children, I learned the values of responsibility, teamwork, and leadership from a young age. These values significantly influence my approach to both athletics and life in general.

Academically, I've taken on challenging courses such as AP US History, AP Environmental Science, and Latin 4 Honors. Maintaining a balance between my academic and athletic pursuits is important to me, and I've worked diligently to excel in both areas.

My football journey had a unique start as I didn't begin as a freshman. However, over the last three years, I've grown into a leadership role within my football team. This journey culminated in a memorable moment when I led my team to a State Championship victory. This experience has taught me the importance of dedication, perseverance, and the power of teamwork.

During the off-season, I remain committed to refining my football skills and maintaining peak physical condition through weight lifting. I also continue to participate in Track and Field, where I achieved the distinction of setting the school record for Javelin throw. I've had the honor of representing my school at the regional and state levels, competing against top athletes in the sport.

Beyond my school and the athletic field, I dedicate my time to volunteering for the Under Armour Flag football league. I coach a coed team of 3rd-4th graders, and it has been an incredibly rewarding experience. Watching these young athletes grow, both in terms of their skills and their understanding of the game, has been a source of immense joy for me. The most fulfilling part is witnessing how the lessons I've imparted not only lead to victories but also instill a love for the game and a valuable learning experience.
